I have been following this group for a while now but this latest story is heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Baby Amani was rescued from traffickers and the people at Virunga National Park are taking care of her. The gorillas are so amazing - just look at their expressions! Anyway - I just wanted to highlight the wonderful work the people in DRC are doing since we most often only here the bad stories. The Park Rangers, doctors and entire team at Virunga risk their lives in the middle of a civil war to protect these gorillas. Check out their blog if you have time...
